Hardware
& Software Sales
Buying a Computer
Buying a computer is easy for some but next to
impossible for others. Because Dell has been doing such an excellent job, I can
easily recommend them. I've even chosen to put a link to their site on my homepage. I get a commission when
you use this link to purchase a system from them on-line. I know some of Dell's
marketing tricks, so you may want to call me first. I also sell Apple,
HP, IBM, and even clones. I'd like to help you with the
decision-making, ordering, installation, software loads, data transfers, configurations,
and training. Or, you could do all that yourself and just call me if you have a
problem. Having an expert do it saves you time and gets you further up the learning
curve faster.
With the price of new computers so low, people are
buying them every day. They're finding that the difficult part isn't deciding how
much stuff to get, but how get their old stuff to work with their new stuff. Can
they just copy everything over? Can they find their old program disks? Can
they find the good data and move it so it works? Can they quickly get to work using
it? Sometimes it's just smart to get help. Many of my customers hire me to
consult, order, deliver, and install their new systems. Some just hire me to
configure the new system and move the old data into it. It's nice to have a
professional around when it comes to computers.
Notebook computers are a different breed. I
recommend buying with a price range in mind. There are many confusing options and
many salesmen trying to sell you more than you'll need.
Printers, scanners, and
cameras are simpler to purchase, but people often have plenty of questions
regarding the specs. Give me a call if you need help.
Buying Software
The easiest part of buying software is ordering it
over the phone. The hardest part is knowing what you're looking for. If you
know what you're looking for, I can get it, usually overnight. If you need help finding
it or using it, I can consult with you, and I can train you.
Supplies & Accessories,
Upgrades, & Parts
I'm getting rid of my inventory, and I don't have a
retail outlet for stuff, but I certainly have access to everything, and I'm buying this
stuff for jobs all the time. Certain things I'll always have
handy, so don't
hesitate to give me a call. |
